DirectGuest is an AI-powered hotel search platform that connects travelers with boutique and independent hotels for direct booking. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

Account dataIf you sign in via our hotel partner portal, Auth0 handles authentication and we receive your email address and name.

Travel preferencesIf you choose to save preferences through an AI assistant conversation — such as preferred price bands, hotel types, home city, or amenities — we store those so future recommendations can be personalized.

Click activityWhen you click through to a hotel's booking page, we log the hotel name, city, timestamp, and which platform (e.g. Claude) you were using. We do not log your identity.

Partner applicationsIf you submit a hotel via our Apply form, we collect the hotel name, contact name, email, phone, website, and any notes you include.

How we use it

To personalize hotel recommendations in AI assistant conversations based on your saved preferences.
To show hotel partners aggregated traffic data — how many clicks DirectGuest sent their way. Hotels see counts, not individual traveler identities.
To follow up with hotels that submitted an application to join the platform.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate DirectGuest:

Auth0Authentication for hotel partner accounts

SupabaseDatabase, hosted in the United States

ResendTransactional email (partner outreach, application confirmations)

FoursquareNearby places data (restaurants, landmarks) in search results

TicketmasterLocal events data surfaced alongside hotel results

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing their data handling practices.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Hotel partners see only aggregated click counts for their property — never individual traveler names, emails, or identifiers.
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To do so, email us at hello@directguest.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

If you saved travel preferences through an AI assistant, we can delete them on request. If you applied via the hotel partner form, we can remove your submission from our records.
